While he's not invincible, Meliodas was nearly impossible to kill even without the Supreme Deity's Resurrective Immortality curse on him and at full power he's strong enough to withstand wielding every commandment without suffering from Phlebotinum Overdose. As a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, he wields a sword with a broken-blade because he's too powerful to use a real one without causing massive devastation with a single swing. When he defected, it was what caused the War between the Five Races because of the imbalance of power it created between the Goddess Clan and Demon Clan. In his youth, he was the most powerful member of the Demon Clan just under the Demon King himself and was the leader of the Ten Commandments, themselves as a Badass Crew of demons chosen for their overwhelming power.
